Book a visit
Pick the kind of visit, your vet and a time. You’ll get a confirmation email right away, and a reminder the day before.
Choose a visit
Not sure which to pick? A wellness exam works for most checkups. For a pet who’s unwell, choose a sick visit and tell us what’s going on. We confirm each one, usually within the hour.
- Wellness exam: 30 minutes, $69
- Sick visit: $78, we confirm
- Deposits come off your bill
- Free to move up to 24 hours ahead
Is it an emergency?
If your pet is struggling to breathe, collapsing, bleeding or seizing, don’t book online. Call Foothills 24-Hour Animal Emergency at (208) 555-0177, or call us at (208) 555-0142 when we’re open.
Before your visit
Two minutes now saves ten at the front desk.
- 1
Sign the forms
Your confirmation email links to the treatment consent, and a new client form if it’s your first visit. Sign with your finger or mouse; you’ll get a copy.
- 2
Bring what helps
A leash or carrier, any vaccine records, a list of medications and food, and a stool sample if your pet can oblige.
- 3
Arrive ten minutes early
We’ll weigh your pet and settle you in. Cats can skip the waiting room if you tell Sam.

Booking questions
How much is a wellness exam?
A wellness exam is $69, and a puppy or kitten exam is $49. Vaccines, tests and anything else are priced separately and listed on our fees page. For anything over $250, you get a written estimate first.
Do you take pet insurance?
We bill you, and you claim with your insurer. We’ll give you an itemized invoice, fill out the vet’s part of your claim form, and send records to the insurer for free.
What can I pay with?
Credit and debit cards, cash and checks at the front desk, or a secure pay link we email you. Details are on our pay page.
How do deposits work?
A few appointments, like dental consults and puppy or kitten visits, take a small deposit when you book online. It comes off your bill. Cancel or move your visit up to 24 hours ahead and it goes back to your card.
What if I need to cancel?
Use the link in your confirmation email, up to 24 hours before the visit. Later than that, please call: life happens, and we’d rather hear from you than wonder.
