Tess Alvarado, CVT

Tess joined Wagtail in 2015, and a good part of the clinic’s calm comes from her. She draws blood from wiggly puppies without anyone getting upset, runs our in-house lab and does the vaccine and nail-trim appointments.

She’s also the person who sits down with new puppy and kitten families and walks them through the first four months: what to feed, how to start brushing teeth, what is normal and what to call us about. Ask her about litter boxes at your own risk. She has a great deal to say.

She lives with three rescue cats and a very patient husband.
