Price guide

These are our standard prices for dogs and cats under 80 pounds. Your pet’s exam may suggest a different plan, and we’ll always say so first.

D = dogs · C = cats

Prices don’t include tax where it applies, and may change; we’ll always confirm before treating.

No surprises

An estimate before anything starts

For anything over $250, Renee or the vet writes up an estimate with each line priced, and you decide what to do and in what order. If something comes up mid-procedure that changes the cost, we call before we go ahead.

If an estimate is more than you can manage, tell us. There’s often more than one reasonable plan.

Paying for care

How much is a wellness exam?

A wellness exam is $69, and a puppy or kitten exam is $49. Vaccines, tests and anything else are priced separately and listed on our fees page. For anything over $250, you get a written estimate first.

Do you take pet insurance?

We bill you, and you claim with your insurer. We’ll give you an itemized invoice, fill out the vet’s part of your claim form, and send records to the insurer for free.

What can I pay with?

Credit and debit cards, cash and checks at the front desk, or a secure pay link we email you. Details are on our pay page.

How do deposits work?

A few appointments, like dental consults and puppy or kitten visits, take a small deposit when you book online. It comes off your bill. Cancel or move your visit up to 24 hours ahead and it goes back to your card.

What if I need to cancel?

Use the link in your confirmation email, up to 24 hours before the visit. Later than that, please call: life happens, and we’d rather hear from you than wonder.

Questions about a price?

Call Renee, our practice manager. She’d rather explain a line item than have you wonder.
