What’s included

Everything a visit calls for

Each visit includes a full exam and whichever vaccines, stool tests or deworming are due that day, plus a microchip at the visit you choose. Tess goes over what to feed, how to start tooth brushing and nail trims, what’s normal and what to call about.

Bought one at a time, the Puppy plan’s visits add up to about $440 and the Kitten plan’s to about $400. Spay or neuter surgery, flea and tick products and anything unexpected are priced separately.

  • Four visits for a puppy, three for a kitten
  • Vaccines, stool tests, deworming and a microchip
  • Plenty of time to ask Tess your questions

Kittens

Kittens need less, but earlier

Kittens are tough to read: they hide when they’re sick. We start at eight weeks with an exam, vaccines and a stool test, check for feline leukemia, and talk about litter, food and scratching.

For spay and neuter, we usually recommend five to six months. We’ll talk about when at the last visit and give you a written price.

Puppy and kitten questions

When should my puppy first see a vet?

As soon as you bring them home, ideally within a week. We check for problems early, start vaccines at the right time and make a plan for the first four months. The Puppy plan covers all of those visits.

When should I spay or neuter my pet?

It depends on the species, breed and size. For most cats, around five or six months. For dogs, it varies more, and larger breeds often do better a little later. We’ll talk it through at a puppy visit and give you an estimate.
